Learn to drive and pedal on sun power and how you can capture the power of the sun on your property. Here’s a snapshot of what we will offer:
- An EV Petting Zoo. Meet the EV owners and their cars. Learn from those who drive them! Federal rebates run out at the end of the month, but state incentives still exist.
- EBike Petting Zoo. See a few models of EBikes that will get you up the hills of Harvard.
- Solar Panel Options: In addition to solar on your roof, we will share how to construct free standing solar panels and battery options without National Grid hook-ups.
- Solar Farm Options: You can join a Massachusetts solar farm at NO COST and reap savings on your electricity bill.
Some things to know and celebrate about clean energy:
- Solar and wind power are no longer “alternative” energy – they’re now the most reliable, practical choice for powering our future.
- Solar power is affordable. It’s the cheapest way to power your home or business – most systems pay for themselves within a few years and can provide cheap and clean energy to your home for decades. Coupled with batteries, you can keep the lights on when there are power outages.
- Global solar capacity has grown more than tenfold in the past decade and it’s now the fastest growing energy source in the world.
- The clean energy sector currently employs millions of workers in the US, creating sustainable jobs and economic growth to communities everywhere.
- Despite this progress, we face organized opposition from fossil fuel companies and their allies who are spending millions to slow down the clean energy transition – attempting to roll back key clean energy policies in Congress, spreading misinformation, and protecting their profits at the expense of our health and future.
