Vote for solar farm at Harvard Town Meeting

At Harvard’s Town Meeting on Saturday, May 2nd, there are three articles about a potential use of the Stow Road gravel pit for a 1.5 MW solar farm.

Articles 25,26 & 27 (on pages 41-46) can be found in the Town of Harvard Annual Meeting Booklet.

You have an opportunity to tour an existing solar farm in Harvard and also walk the site at the gravel pit to see the plans for the proposed solar farm at that location.

Sunday April 26

1:30 pm – Harvard Solar Garden Tour – With Paul Green – behind Kennedy’s Nursery on Ayer Road (Rt 111).

Parking can be found at the Sorrento’s / Rollstone Bank parking lot or across the street at 294 Ayer Road. For those with disabilities, a limited number of spaces are available in the driveway just north of Kennedy’s.

3:00 pm – Stow Road Gravel Pit – located next to 140 Stow Road

Parking can be found along the side of Stow Road.
