Jane Flegal is a prominent American climate policy expert and social scientist with extensive experience in government, philanthropy, and academia. Her work focuses on developing and implementing climate change policies, particularly those related to technology, industrial emissions, and equity.
Dr. Jane Flegal serves as the Market Development and Policy Lead at Stripe Climate and Frontier, managing a $1 billion+ initiative aimed at purchasing permanent carbon dioxide removal. Named one of Vox’s Future Perfect 50 in 2023, she previously held roles such as Senior Director for Industrial Emissions at the White House Office of Domestic Climate Policy and directed climate and environment programs at prominent foundations.
